Job Overview:
As a Manual Testing Intern at 8 Views, you will assist the QA team in executing comprehensive testing processes to ensure seamless functionality and user experience. You will gain valuable experience in test case execution, bug tracking, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality. This role is ideal for someone passionate about software testing and eager to build a strong foundation in quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Develop, document, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and report defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to identify and resolve issues.
- Verify and validate bug fixes through re-testing and ensure product stability.
- Ensure applications meet business requirements and technical specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of manual testing concepts, Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with test case creation, execution, and defect lifecycle.
- Knowledge of different types of testing (functional, regression, performance, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and document defects effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and documentation tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
